Volume 1 is intended to specify the DDX syntax and semantics, the persistent representation, and the syntax and semantics of constraint expressions.
I have created an svn repository at opendap.org for dap4 documents. Volume 1 (dap4.docx) is accessible on-line through this url.
Using this repository, we can use Word's comparison mechanism to look at changes between versions. Note that we cannot use the svn diff mechanism.
A less definitive version of Volume 1 resides on Dropbox at the following location.
As James has noted, media wiki will not allow upload of .docx files, so that option is closed for now.
