Where & When

Meeting modus operandi

  • mockups
  • whiteboard designs
  • use cases
  • best to exploit face-to-face for what it affords.

Agenda

  1. Server Side Functions (1/2 day)
    1. registration
    2. what gets registered
  2. Admin interface (related to BOM, short discussion 30 minutes at most)
    1. admin connects to a listener
    2. can restart a listener
    3. can restart the BES with ADMIN
    4. turn on/off debugging through admin interface
  3. Module check (making sure a loaded module matches the version of BES and any required modules) (1 hr)
  4. SSL authentication/authorization issues (currently problem with SSL authentication and keeping SSL channel open for secure communication) (2 hrs)
  5. multiple catalogs (BES and OLFS integration) (2 hrs)
  6. Instead of reading NCML file, taking an NCML document (1 hr)
  7. re-write besdaemon/beslistener (2-3 hrs)
  8. keep track of how many connections are allowed/active
  9. allowed size of response from BES (1 hr)
  10. Active file system (1/2 day)
  11. Nicer install for Hyrax (RPM, yum, apt-get, something like what perl has, mac port)


  • Dan and James have to meet with Peter for 8 hours (4hrs Thursday, 4hrs Friday)
  • Michael, Nathan and I can work through those 8 hours.
  • Can work more than 8 hours a day too

Wednesday

0800 - Meet and Greet
